About

As a lifelong arts and crafter I’ve always enjoyed learning how things are made and attempting to make them myself. I particularly enjoy costume design and construction, sculpture, and knitting. I’ve been working in the retail industry for 13 years and counting, including craft fairs, sales floor, warehousing, and e-commerce. In 2022 I decided to go back to school after a decade away to mesh my work experience with my crafting experience. I completed the Apparel Merchandising & Design program at Kirkwood Community College and while there got started on my journey into Theatre.

There is very little in my life that doesn’t revolve around art in some form. But when I’m not creating it, I’m enjoying what others have made. Spending my free time at concerts, plays, clubs, and the public library. My latest way of enjoying art has been through playing video games and watching behind the scenes videos of how they’re made, my current favorite being the independently designed Hades.
